What is the Boat License?
The Licencia de Navegación — known locally as the "Titulín" — is the entry-level Spanish recreational boating licence. It's the easiest way to start: no exam, no complicated maths, just one intensive day on the water.
It covers motorboats, sailboats, jet skis and catamarans up to 6 metres, for daytime navigation up to 2 nautical miles from a port or sheltered anchorage (not measured from the open coast).
