I’m Ricard Prehn. I have been teaching people to sail for more than 27 years and repairing and surveying boats for 25. I founded Altair in 2014 so that people could discover the Mediterranean on a real, well-kept classic yacht, with someone who knows every cove of this coast.

How much is a private sunset sail?
€350 for the whole boat (up to 11 people, 1 h 30 min). There is also a shared option on Fridays at €84 per person.
Do I need any sailing experience?
No. Ricard is the professional skipper on board; you can simply enjoy it, or take the helm if you want to.
Can I get a Spanish boat licence in English?
Yes. The Navigation Licence costs €139 in Spanish; taught in English it is a private course from €450, cheaper per person the more of you book together.
Where do we meet?
In Port Garraf, 25 minutes from Barcelona by car on the C-32, or by the R2 South train to Garraf station.
