6. Publishing to social networks through their APIs

Escuela Náutica Altair uses the official APIs of Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms), YouTube (YouTube API Services, by Google) and TikTok only through an internal tool, to publish its own content to its own accounts and to read the statistics of those posts. The tool is not used by third parties, does not collect or store data about other users of those platforms and shares no data with third parties. Access credentials are stored with restricted access on our computers and servers and can be revoked at any time.

• YouTube: by using YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply. Access can be revoked from the Google account security settings page.
• Instagram and Facebook: the Meta Privacy Policy and the Meta Platform Terms apply.
• TikTok: the TikTok Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply.
• Data we keep: only the ID and link of the posts we publish to our own accounts, and their statistics (views, likes, comments), refreshed daily. No data about other users is stored. Statistics are deleted if access is withdrawn and, in any case, are refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
• Revoking access and deletion: if access to any of the platforms is revoked, we delete the corresponding credentials and the data obtained from that platform from our computers and servers within 7 days. Deletion can also be requested by writing to info@escuelanauticaaltair.com.
